According to recent reports which came out Monday, Trump is planning on replacing Attorney General Jeff Sessions with Rudy Giuliani.

The president is not satisfied with Sessions’ work. Trump criticized him the previous week because he recused himself from the Russia investigations. The president is considering the option of getting ex-mayor back to be in charge of the Justice Department, informed Axios, mentioning sources.

On his Twitter profile, this Monday President Trump wrote about his disappointment from Sessions, as he referred to him as “beleaguered.”

So why aren’t the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations? – Trump wrote.

Trump stated that Sessions chose to recuse himself was “very unfair to the president.”

“Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Trump said for the New York Times the previous.

The following day, Sessions stated that he was “completely confident” that he is able to continue to be in charge of the Justice Department.

he could continue running the Justice Department.

We love this job. We love this department. And I plan to continue to do so as long as is appropriate, – Jeff Sessions stated.

Axios reported that the President is considering Giuliani, firm supporter of his campaign.

Previous Friday, Trump was angry because the White House is not on point regarding the Russian investigation and his legislative plans. He picked Anthony Scaramucci, Wall Street financier, to be the new director of his communications office.

Sean Spicer, White House press secretary, disagreed with the decision and gave a resignation letter.

During the change of the presidents, Guiliani urged Trump to act as his secretary of state and was between nominees for attorney generals, together with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, whose name came up to lead the Department of Homeland Security.

Throwing himself on the list for attorney general, Giuliani, stated for CNN few days after the election that “there’s probably nobody that knows the Justice Department better than me.”

But in December, Giuliani said to the President that he is no longer interested in any position other than secretary of state.

He offered me some Cabinet positions, which I’m very, very thankful for. It just didn’t work out in terms of my private life, – Giuliani stated for “Fox and Friends.”
